About Us

Established in 2009 by the Shiv Nadar Foundation, the inspiration for VidyaGyan stems from the belief that high-quality education will have a positive impact on the academic and socio­economic structure of the society to a point where it can truly uplift and transform lives. VidyaGyan aims to provide the opportunities of a world-class leadership academy to the students of rural India and transform their lives using high quality school education. VidyaGyan brings students from rural India, who are potential high achievers, at par with their urban counterparts. In addition to academic excellence, the school strongly focuses on the holistic development of students by providing platforms that enhance their communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills. Students not only actively participate in platforms such as TEDx and Model United Nations (MUN), but also take pride in hosting these events, demonstrating strong organizational and leadership capabilities. These experiences help them confidently express their ideas, engage in meaningful discussions, and develop a global perspective. Furthermore, in the field of sports, our students actively participate and excel in state as well as national level competitions, reflecting their dedication, discipline, and team spirit. These opportunities collectively prepare them to become responsible, confident, and well-rounded individuals.
