About Us
Vishwashanti Gurukul World School (VGWS) is an IB World School under the MAEER (MIT Group of Institutions), established in April 2006. The school received IB Diploma authorisation in May 2006, IB PYP in 2009, IB MYP in 2018 and IBCP in October 2025, becoming a full IB continuum school. Vishwashanti Gurukul School is located within a 125-acre lush green campus (named ‘Rajbaug’) on the banks of the Mula-Mutha river, on the Pune-Solapur Highway. Within the Rajbaug campus, the MIT ADT (Arts, Design and Technology) university is situated with its Engineering college, Institute of Design, Film Institute, Manet (Maharashtra Academy of Naval Engineering and Technology), College of Music, College of Humanities, B.Ed college and so on. VGWS is a day-cum-residential, co-educational school that emphasises holistic development, balancing academics, sports, arts, values, and global citizenship. The school serves students from Maharashtra, other parts of India and all over the world. Rooted in the rich tradition of the Guru–Shishya Parampara, the school nurtures a close mentor-mentee relationship, fostering respect, discipline, and value-based learning.
