Inaugurated in 2013 as a part of the prestigious (Doon Global Education Society), The TonsBridge School (formerly known as Shemford Futuristic School), was started by the visionary forefather of India as the country's 12th President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, and his belief that education has the power to transform lives continues to carry forward the ethos of the school. Inaugurated by the renowned educationist and entrepreneur Mr. Vijay Nagar, the school was established with a vision to establish a world-class center of learning, embracing cutting-edge technologies with centuries-old values and educating students to be intellectually brilliant, ethically solid and globally equipped The TonsBridge School from the start recognized as a leader of forward- was thinking and progressive education in the Doon Valley. There were interactive smart boards in every classroom allowing for more immersive and engaging classroom moments, before digital classrooms were ubiquitous. This legacy of excellence continues to be present here today, with the contemporary academic blocks, cutting: edge science laboratories, improved computing facilities, innovation & design spaces, well-curated libraries and well-designed learning spaces fostering inquiry, creativity and collaborative learning. The TonsBridge School started its journey from kindergarten to grade 10, and is proud to announce that the first batch of grade 12 (2019) graduated with outstanding academic results, setting a tradition of excellence that continues to inspire successive generations of students. The TonsBridge School has successfully emerged as one of the top schools in India today.
